My story
As a young lad growing up in the UK I compiled my own league table of my favourite 70’s TV ads. Tell ‘em about the honey Mummy, For Mash Get Smash, were top performers.
When I moved to Australia at the age of 12, the horror of regional TV advertising like Naughty Don Rogers going “mad with money” hit me especially hard. Why? I asked myself, would you create something so crude and annoying? How could that possibly work? I felt strongly that ads should tell a story, be entertaining.
Fast forward a few years and I am in the story telling business. Passionate about it. My previous worlds of marketing and journalism have collided beautifully and I’ve never been happier. I’ve managed some of the world’s largewst B2B brand’s channels and always look to provide unique angles and insights that have value for our customers and employees. The kind of content that gets attention, starts conversations and delivers measurable results.
I’m now on my latest and most exciting venture. My own content marketing agency! Vivace Content is up and running. So happy to be partnered with my long-time colleague, friend and incredible talent Joel Leeman.
